STUDENT CARE TEACHER (Various Locations, NORTH)
Job Summary
Deliver and present lesson content to primary school children while supervising their homework completion and ensuring their safety during school-to-centre transfers. Collaborate regularly with parents and caregivers to communicate children’s progress and behaviour.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and present lesson content effectively to primary school children (Primary 1 to 6) to enhance their learning outcomes
- Supervise children to ensure timely and accurate completion of daily homework assignments
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children during school dismissal and transfer to the student centre by monitoring and managing safe transitions
- Monitor and maintain a safe environment for children throughout their time at the centre to prevent incidents and promote well-being
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide clear updates on children’s academic progress and behavioural development
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a minimum diploma or higher qualification and/or WSQ Student-Care Certification

- Exhibit a positive attitude and resilience when addressing challenges in the learning environment
- Apply creative thinking and problem-solving skills to support children’s learning and development effectively
- Show a genuine passion for nurturing children and facilitating their learning process
- Possess experience teaching or working with primary school children; candidates without experience are welcome as training will be provided
