STUDENT CARE TEACHER (Various Location)
Job Summary
Deliver engaging and effective lesson content to primary school children (Primary 1 to 6), ensuring their academic progress and safety during school-to-centre transfers. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children’s development and foster a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver lesson content that engages primary school children and supports their learning objectives
- Supervise primary school children to ensure timely and accurate completion of daily homework assignments
- Implement safety protocols to ensure the well-being of children during school dismissal and transfer to the student centre
- Monitor children’s behaviour and progress, communicating regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates and address concerns
- Apply problem-solving skills to adapt teaching methods and address challenges in the learning process
- Foster a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages children’s curiosity and love for learning
Required competencies and certifications
- WSQ Student-Care Certified
- Diploma or higher qualification
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience teaching primary school children
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and caregivers
- Demonstrated creativity and problem-solving ability in educational settings
- Passion for nurturing children and supporting their learning journey
