ByggCompaniet is a well-established construction company in western Värmland with offices in both Arvika and Charlottenberg. With broad experience in contracting and long-term customer relations, the company is today an appreciated partner in both private and public projects. The current CEO plans to retire, and we are now seeking a business-oriented and operationally close leader who wants to continue developing and driving the company forward.

The Position As CEO of ByggCompaniet, you have the overall responsibility for the company's operations, business, and long-term development. You lead the operations together with the organization, board, and owners with a focus on profitability, quality, long-term customer relations, and sustainable business practices. This is a broad and operationally close role where the focus, among other things, lies on strengthening the business, creating conditions for larger contracts, and driving the company forward. At the same time, we cherish the culture and way of working that has contributed to shaping ByggCompaniet into the company it is today.

In the role, you are responsible for, among other things:

• Business and strategic work
• Result and financial responsibility
• Operational management
• Market and customer relations
• Organizational and leadership issues
• Development of internal processes and working methods
• Creating conditions for continued growth and larger projects

Who are we looking for? We are looking for you who is a secure, business-oriented, and operationally close leader. You have experience with larger contracts and are accustomed to working in a structured manner with clear processes, project management, and financial responsibility. At the same time, you are a person who builds trust, creates long-term relationships, and brings the organization along in development and change. Perhaps you currently work as a project manager, operations manager, contract manager, or in another leading role within construction and contracting where you have had responsibility for both projects, operations, and business. You are clear in your leadership and have the ability to combine business acumen with a long-term perspective. You have great drive, a good understanding of project economics, and feel secure in dialogue with both customers and employees.

Requirements

• Experience in leadership and personnel responsibility
• Good understanding of project economics and project management
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• B-driver's license

Meritorious

• Experience from larger contracts
• Work with business and operational development
• Relevant education within construction, civil engineering, or economics
• Previous experience from a CEO role or another leading position
