What will you do as a Facilities Regulatory Compliance Specialist?
As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the regulatory compliance of the company's facilities and operations, guaranteeing that all processes, licenses, certifications, and legal requirements are up to date and aligned with applicable regulations.
You will work closely with areas such as Facilities, Security, Human Resources, and Training to implement controls, attend audits, and mitigate operational and regulatory risks.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage the regulatory compliance of the company's facilities.
- Administer and follow up on licenses, permits, certifications, and government requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Normas Oficiales Mexicanas (NOMs) applicable to the operation.
- Attend audits and inspections from regulatory authorities, including the Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social.
- Coordinate structural, electrical, and other required regulatory documentation reports.
- Design, implement, and follow up on compliance controls, processes, and checklists.
- Identify regulatory risks and propose corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with internal areas to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Keep physical and digital documentation related to regulatory compliance up to date.
Required profile:
- Completed Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in regulatory compliance, management of licenses, permits, and applicable regulations.
- Solid knowledge of Normas Oficiales Mexicanas (NOMs).
- Experience attending regulatory audits and inspections.
- Intermediate English (advanced desirable).
- High capacity for organization and attention to detail.
- Experience managing large volumes of documentation.
- Ease of communication and ability to influence different areas.
- Availability to travel between different locations.
- Availability to attend to requirements outside of working hours when necessary.

Salary $35,000 gross
