Key Account Manager
Your Tasks: Become part of our team and help to further expand and strengthen our strategic partnership with one of the world's leading semiconductor companies. Your task is to drive sustainable business growth, create transparency across regions, and position Plansee as the preferred global partner for high-performance solutions made of refractory metals and related materials in semiconductor equipment.
- Central point of contact between the customer's Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Operations teams as well as the regional sales teams, production sites, R&D departments, Product Management, and the Business Unit Management of Plansee
- Development and implementation of a global Key Account strategy, including account planning, opportunity tracking, stakeholder management, and regular business reviews. You will strengthen and expand the global customer network by building strong relationships with key decision-makers and multipliers at customer sites in the USA, Asia, Europe, and other relevant regions
- Driving early customer involvement to identify new application fields, secure design-in positions for Plansee components and modules in next-generation semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and support the transition from a transactional supplier relationship to a strategic partnership
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities with semiconductor equipment manufacturers (OEMs), foundries, and integrated device manufacturers by strategically utilizing Plansee's advanced material and component solutions
- Close cooperation with Product Management, Research & Development, Engineering, and Production to identify new design opportunities, material and service life improvements, cost optimization initiatives, value-added solutions, and technology roadmaps. In doing so, you will translate customer challenges into commercially viable solutions
Your Profile:
- Completed Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or a comparable field, as well as extensive experience in an international industrial environment in the areas of technical sales, Application Engineering, process engineering, Product Management, or Business Development within the semiconductor industry
- Sound understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and semiconductor equipment, as well as the ability to discuss technical challenges and solution approaches at eye level with engineering stakeholders
- Proven experience in direct customer contact and an established network with semiconductor equipment manufacturers, foundries, or IDMs, combined with the ability to actively influence technical and commercial decision-making processes
- Strong intercultural competence and enjoyment of working in a global team
- Fluent English skills and willingness to travel internationally

Statutory notice in Austria: Minimum salary according to the Metall (G) collective agreement is € 60,962.30 gross / p.a. based on 14 payments. The actual offer takes into account market prices, qualifications, and professional experience.
