Specialist - Automation Technology

Your tasks:

• PLC and HMI standardization - development and maintenance of the "Plansee PLC- und HMI-Library", version management and documentation, management of software and program changes
• Electrical design - creation of circuit diagrams and definition of design standards, 2D and 3D design of control cabinets, component selection and maintenance of standard components, management of red/greenlining during assembly and commissioning
• Functional safety - risk analyses and CE conformity, design and verification of safety loops, software validation of safety blocks
• Standards, guidelines & compliance - consideration of relevant standards and guidelines, maintenance and further development of the "Plansee-Automatisierungstechnik-Richtlinien"
• Technical documentation - creation and updating of technical protocols and documents, conducting training on the application of standards

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the field of electrical or automation engineering or a comparable qualification (HTL, IKA, Meisterabschluss, state-certified electrical engineer) with several years of practical experience
• Programming knowledge in automation (e.g., TIA Portal, Simatic Manager, TwinCAT, WinCC), experience with library development and SW validation, as well as CAD know-how (EPLAN)
• Practical experience with modern automation systems and digitalization solutions; knowledge of CE conformity, safety technology and risk analyses is a plus
• Broad technical understanding, combined with curiosity, passion for innovation and the ambition to continuously improve things
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, high flexibility as well as good English skills in speaking and writing

Legally mandatory notice in Austria: Minimum salary according to the Metall collective agreement (F) € 53,241.02 gross / p.a. based on 14 payments. The actual offer takes into account market prices, qualification and professional experience.
