Accountant for an international company in the renewable energy sector

About the company

A leading company in the renewable energy sector is recruiting an Accountant for a professional and significant role involving responsibility for the management and control of financial and accounting activities in international projects in Europe. The role combines financial reporting, budget control, and support for complex projects from the development stage through to ongoing operation, while working with interfaces in Israel and abroad.

Your tasks

Responsibilities

• Preparation and editing of periodic and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards, including reporting for group consolidation purposes.
• Management of accounting closing processes, performing controls, and analyzing financial results.
• Control and monitoring of project budgets, cash flows, and financing structures.
• Providing accounting and financial responses to international projects in the development, construction, and operation stages.
• Routine work with finance teams abroad, project managers, accountants, and external consultants.
• Integration into the accounting team and working directly with the finance management.

Requirements

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Mandatory. 3–5 years of experience in accounting roles – Mandatory. Proven experience in preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards – Mandatory. Experience working with international companies and financial interfaces – Mandatory. High-level proficiency in English – Mandatory. Ability to work independently, analytical thinking, precision, and thoroughness. Ability to manage multiple tasks and interfaces. Experience in a public company – Advantage.
