Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum and academic standards. Prepare students for internal and external examinations. Explain concepts clearly and develop students’ analytical thinking, scientific inquiry, and problem-solving skills. Use varied teaching strategies to support students with different learning abilities. Prepare and administer assignments, quizzes, tests, and examinations. Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback. Provide additional academic support to students where necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date academic records. Create a positive, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities. Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and student outcomes. Communicate with parents regarding student progress when required.
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
A university degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a closely related field. Strong subject knowledge in the area they are applying to teach. Experience teaching students . The ability to prepare students for internal and external examinations. A recognised teaching qualification is an advantage. Cambridge curriculum experience is highly desirable.
