Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Die Setter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and adjusting dies on various machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, precision, and adherence to safety standards to maintain high-quality output in a fast-paced environment. The Die Setter plays a critical role in maintaining optimal machine performance and product quality, supporting the overall manufacturing operations.

Duties

• Set up, adjust, and operate die equipment on presses to produce parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine die configurations and setup procedures.
• Utilize hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices for precise adjustments and quality inspections.
• Perform routine maintenance, changeovers, and troubleshooting of dies and related machinery
• Operate cranes or forklifts as needed for moving heavy dies or materials safely around the shop floor.
• Ensure all setups meet safety standards and quality requirements before production runs begin.

Pay: $21.96-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
