For our client, an internationally active high-tech company in security and system technology based in Kassel, we are looking for a

Payroll Specialist (m/f/d)

at the earliest possible date.

The position is to be filled long-term in full-time (40 hours per week) within the framework of "Test & Hire". A later permanent takeover is intended.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for timely payroll accounting, including time management, for a fixed group of employees
• You are a competent contact person for employees, managers, and HR regarding questions about wage tax, social security, labor, and collective bargaining law
• You process complex payroll-relevant topics such as company pension schemes, partial retirement, company cars, garnishments, or international assignments
• You work closely with internal departments, the works council, and external bodies and actively participate in payroll projects
• You ensure compliance with legal requirements and take on special topics such as company pension adjustments or other payroll-relevant processes as a payroll accountant, wage and salary accountant, or experienced payroll expert

What you bring with you

• Completed commercial training as well as several years of professional experience in payroll accounting
• Sound knowledge of labor, wage tax, social security, and collective bargaining law
• Confident handling of SAP HCM, MS Office, as well as electronic reporting procedures (e.g., ELSTER, DEÜV, and EEL)
• Good written and spoken English skills
• A structured, careful, and responsible way of working, as well as the ability to maintain an overview even in intensive work phases
