Job Summary Perform cleaning and meal preparation tasks in a childcare centre to maintain a safe, hygienic environment and support children’s daily nutrition. Responsibilities Clean childcare centre areas, including vacuuming, mopping floors, wiping fans, windows, and toilets to maintain hygiene standards Assist the cook in preparing breakfast and tea break meals to support children’s nutrition needs Portion and distribute lunch to classes accurately and timely Follow food safety and hygiene practices during meal preparation and cleaning tasks Preferred competencies and qualifications Possess WSQ Food and Hygiene Certification (optional)
