Job Summary

This internship offers hands-on experience supporting business systems, smart locker operations, IT support, application testing, cybersecurity, and digital learning initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Document, review, and analyse existing business processes and internal systems to improve knowledge sharing, operational efficiency, and process effectiveness.
  • Support the migration and deployment of a nationwide network of more than 1,000 smart locker stations, including system configuration, testing, validation, and implementation activities.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing systems by investigating reported issues, resolving bugs, and providing timely support through the company’s ticketing system.
  • Participate in application and system testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure solution quality, reliability, and business readiness.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain technical documentation, user guides, standard operating procedures, system records, and reports for various applications and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical support, and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
  • Provide end-user IT support for laptops, hardware, software, and office productivity applications, including support for employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of e-learning content and training courses to support regulatory compliance, internal processes, and employee development initiatives.
  • Support IT infrastructure, application rollouts, system enhancements, and other technology-related projects as assigned by the team.
  • Support cybersecurity assessments and vulnerability management activities in collaboration with vendors and developers, including coordinating security scans, tracking findings, monitoring remediation progress, and following up on outstanding issues.

Requirements

  • Able to commit to a full-time internship for the entire internship period.
  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of operating systems, computer hardware, networking, and software applications.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting methodologies, IT support processes, or service desk operations would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with users and stakeholders at different levels.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to a fast-paced working environment.
  • Good organisational, documentation, and time-management skills.
