Interior Designer (Mid-Senior level)

Job Summary Lead interior design projects from concept to handover, collaborating with clients and suppliers to deliver high-quality workplace environments. Mentor junior designers and manage detailed plans, presentations, and client communications. Responsibilities Lead interior design projects from concept development through to final handover, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes Collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, sub-contractors, and relevant authorities to align project goals and requirements Mentor and guide junior interior designers to develop their skills and contribute effectively to projects Create detailed design plans, specifications, and layouts tailored to workplace environments Develop and present design concepts and sketches to clients, confidently communicating ideas and solutions Prepare and present materials and drawings to support client decision-making and project approvals Manage take-offs and reconfigurations as required to meet project changes and client needs Ensure high-quality design standards and maintain strong customer satisfaction throughout project lifecycle Apply strong space planning skills to optimize workplace functionality and aesthetics Demonstrate excellent hand-sketching ability to visualize and communicate design ideas Maintain client-facing professionalism and deliver excellent customer service under pressure Lead and mentor a team of intermediate and junior designers, fostering collaboration and growth Required competencies and certifications Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a relevant discipline 5 to 10 years of experience working specifically on workplace interior design projects Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and SketchUp software Confident presentation skills with the ability to speak effectively in front of clients and stakeholders Preferred competencies and qualifications Highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining quality and client satisfaction Customer service orientation with a client-facing approach Other Information How to Apply Please submit your CV in Microsoft Word format and portfolio (max 5MB) to Reshama Khanduja at resh@phoenix-recruit.com Include your notice period, reason for leaving, last drawn salary, and expected salary.
