Test Laboratory Technician - Product Validation

Job Purpose

Provide service to the different areas in performing Production Check audits, failure analysis in starters and alternators derived from testing, issuing reliable and clear information that serves as a support element in decision-making affecting product quality.

Main Responsibilities

• Operate test equipment for production parts.
• Perform test and customer engineering specifications.
• Perform product audits (tear-down).
• Analyze problems based on statistical tools.
• Perform technical analysis on failed products.
• Perform technical reports.
• Actively participate in the Annual Physical Inventory.

What are we looking for?

• Education: Technician in Quality, Productivity, or related incomplete degree.
• Experience in a similar position: 2 years or more in a similar position.
• Required technical knowledge: Basic understanding of test specifications, Basic understanding of customer engineering specifications, Knowledge of product audits (tear-down), Use of basic problem-solving tools, Basic knowledge of the quality system in test laboratories (ISO 17025), Experience in performing technical analysis on failed products, Use of computer equipment for performing technical reports.
• Other requirements: Microsoft Office, SAP and intermediate English.
