Job Description: The Nursery Manager is responsible for the organization, planning, coordination, and smooth operation of the Nursery Department of the Hatchery, ensuring the optimal growth, health, welfare, and quality of the fish until their transfer to the fattening units or their sale to customers. Additionally, they are responsible for achieving production targets, the proper management of human and material resources, adherence to the Company's quality standards, and effective coordination with other Departments and other Hatcheries. Description of Duties: Responsibilities and core job functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Organizes, plans, and supervises the daily operations of the nursery unit. Monitors the growth, health, and performance of the fish according to the company's production targets. Coordinates the sorting, preparation, and transport processes of the fish. Ensures that broodstock batches meet the expected quality specifications before sale or the next production phase. Supervises the implementation of feeding programs and the optimal utilization of feed. Monitors water quality parameters daily and takes necessary corrective actions. Collaborates with the Ichthyopathology Department for the prevention and management of fish health issues. Supervises the proper operation of equipment and coordinates required maintenance work. Ensures the implementation of biosecurity, hygiene, and fish welfare procedures. Participates in the planning and monitoring of the production and movement program of broodstock. Monitors stocks of feed, consumables, and other materials and ensures their timely replenishment. Manages and updates production information systems, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data. Organizes, allocates, and supervises the work of the department personnel. Ensures compliance with Occupational Health and Safety rules. Participates in the implementation of quality systems, inspections, and continuous improvement actions of the production process.   Education & Experience: Degree in Ichthyology / Biology or in a related field of study. Relevant experience from 2 to 5 years. Good knowledge of the English language. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
