Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
Implement approved sales and business development strategies to achieve assigned revenue, profitability, and business growth targets. Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within assigned markets, industries, and client segments. Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective, existing, and key clients to drive client acquisition, retention, and account growth. Improve existing client accounts through cross-selling, upselling and introduction of additional HR outsourcing and workforce solutions. Maintain and manage an effective sales pipeline covering prospecting to conversion and utilise the company's CRM system to maintain accurate client and opportunity records. Engage prospective and existing clients to understand their HR, workforce, and outsourcing requirements, and collaborate with relevant internal teams to develop appropriate solutions. Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partners to generate new business opportunities. Prepare and deliver client presentations, business pitches, proposals, etc. and ensure timely submission of RFQs, RFPs, EOIs, tenders etc. Participate in commercial negotiations with prospective and existing clients, including pricing, service scope, SLAs, and other commercial requirements, in line with approved company guidelines. Monitor client feedback and coordinate with relevant internal teams to address service issues, improve client experience, support client retention, and ensure successful handover and onboarding of newly acquired clients. Monitor and report on sales activities, pipeline development, client acquisition, etc. Coach, supervise, coordinate and support Business Development/Sales team members while monitoring progress against agreed sales and business development KPIs.
Remuneration:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development and sales, preferably in outsourcing or related industries. Professional certification such as IBD or NIMN is a plus. Strong business development, sales, and client relationship management skills. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and closing skills. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach and coordinate teams. Ability to manage multiple projects, clients, and priorities effectively. Strong proposal/bid preparation, account management and commercial negotiation skills. Ability to develop sales strategies, identify opportunities and drive revenue growth. Good knowledge of market trends, CRM, sales pipeline management and performance reporting. Results-driven, proactive, resilient, customer-focused, and commercially aware. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, collaboration and decision-making skills. High level of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and adaptability.
