Restaurant Manager - Σκιάθος

The Philian Hotels & Resorts Group, with 17 hotel units in Σκιάθος and Θεσσαλονίκη, is looking for dynamic and talented partners for the 2027 summer season.

Responsibilities:

• Organizes, coordinates, and supervises the daily operation of the restaurant, ensuring that all services are provided according to hospitality and quality standards.
• Manages and leads the restaurant team (waiters, hostess, bartenders), encouraging teamwork and professional behavior.
• Drafts staff work schedules, taking into account staffing needs and reservation forecasts.
• Monitors the presentation and quality of dishes and drinks in collaboration with the Chef, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Welcomes customers, supervises service, and manages special requests or complaints, aiming for an excellent hospitality experience.
• Checks compliance with hygiene and safety rules in the restaurant areas, performing regular inspections.
• Monitors the proper use and maintenance of equipment, reporting any problems immediately.
• Supports the F&B Management in inventory management, ordering, and costing, proposing improvements where necessary.
• Trains and guides staff (on the job training) to ensure a high level of service.
• Contributes to the achievement of commercial goals (sales, upselling, customer satisfaction) and the implementation of departmental promotional activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Essential previous experience in a similar position in a hotel or restaurant
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety rules
• Flexibility and adaptability in demanding conditions
• Ability to manage complaints and effective problem-solving
• Organizational skills, responsibility, and attention to detail.
• Service-oriented, politeness, and professional behavior
• Team spirit

Desirable Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Tourism School
• Knowledge of a 2nd foreign language
• Previous experience in 4* or 5* hotels will be considered an additional asset
• Availability of recommendations from previous employers, if requested.
