Host / Hostess - Skiathos

The Philian Hotels & Resorts Group, with 17 hotel units in Skiathos and Thessaloniki, is looking for dynamic and talented partners for the 2027 summer season.

Main responsibilities:

• Receiving and welcoming customers with professionalism and politeness.
• Managing and organizing reservations for the beach and the restaurant via the iHost system.
• Managing seating and the correct distribution of guests to tables.
• Managing and responding to customer emails.
• Managing and coordinating special requests and customer requirements.
• Continuous communication and cooperation with the various departments of the hotel for the effective service of guests.
• Coordinating the flow of guests and cooperating with the service team.
• Ensuring a high level of service and hospitality.
• Maintaining a professional image and excellent communication with customers throughout their stay.

Required Qualifications:

• Essential previous experience in a similar position in a 4* or 5* hotel
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Customer-centric approach and service spirit
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate and cooperate effectively with all departments of the hotel
• Ability to manage requests and complaints
• Dynamic and pleasant personality
• Ability to work under pressure
• Responsibility, consistency, and attention to detail
• Professional and neat appearance

Desirable Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Tourism Professions school
• Knowledge of a 2nd foreign language
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems
• Knowledge of using systems such as PDA and POS
