Beach Waiter/Waitress - Skiathos

The Philian Hotels & Resorts Group, with 17 hotel units in Skiathos and Thessaloniki, is looking for dynamic and talented Waiters/Waitresses for the 2027 summer season.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the smooth daily operation of the beach area, in accordance with the hotel's quality and service standards.
• Taking orders and serving food and drinks to beach customers with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.
• Monitoring and managing beach reservations, in cooperation and under the guidance of the Restaurant Manager.
• Ensuring the orderliness, cleanliness, and proper image of the beach area throughout the day.
• Managing complaints, special requests, and customer feedback with composure, politeness, and professionalism, and informing the supervisor where necessary.
• Providing menu suggestions, answering questions, and communicating additional information to beach customers.
• Creating and maintaining a positive relationship with customers, aiming to provide an exceptional hospitality experience and enhance the loyalty of repeat customers.
• Coordinating and cooperating with other team members for the smooth and efficient operation of the shift.
• Contributing to the maintenance of a positive, professional, and collaborative atmosphere among team members.
• Ensuring compliance with the hotel's quality, hygiene, and service standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Mandatory previous experience in a similar position in a 4* or 5* hotel
• Very good knowledge of the English language
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a demanding and dynamic work environment
• Ability to effectively manage complaints and solve problems
• Professional behavior, politeness, and a positive attitude
• Team spirit and the ability to cooperate effectively

Desirable Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Tourism Management school
• Knowledge of a second foreign language
• Knowledge and application of HACCP procedures
• Knowledge of wines and basic principles of wine service
• Experience in a beach restaurant or a similar high-standard environment

Availability of recommendations from previous employers is considered necessary.
