FISH PROCESSING WORKER
s perform a range of tasks related to the processing and packaging of fish. They typically work in factories where they handle, process, and pack fish and seafood for distribution.
Fish Processing Workers are primarily responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of the fish products, with daily duties and responsibilities including:
- Sorting, grading and weighing fish products to ensure compliance with company standards
- Cutting, cleaning, and filleting various types of fish
- Operating machinery and equipment used in fish processing, such as conveyor belts and packaging machines
- Inspecting fish products for defects, spoilage or contamination and removing any inferior products
- Packing fish products into containers and sealing them for shipment
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitoring the temperature and humidity of storage areas to preserve the freshness of fish products
- Perform routine maintenance checks on processing equipment to ensure smooth operation
Qualifications/Requirements:
- FEMALE
- AT LEAST A HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE WITH TESDA NATIONAL CERTIFICATE IN FOOD PROCESSING, COOKERY, FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES OR A GRADUATE OF BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN FISHERIES
- MUST HAVE PASSPORT
- 1 YEAR RELEVANT LOCAL WORK EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.
