Its values: Advanced and Easy. Job Context As part of its growth, ADVEEZ is looking for a Back end Engineer (NodeJS). The position within the SASS platform Development team must increase R&D capabilities to both develop new services on the existing application and work on new SAAS platforms. Indeed, ADVEEZ internally manages all product developments (hardware, communication, software, production, and web platform) for Asset Tracking. Business growth and diversification, the diversity of client requests, and the adoption of the platform by a large number of users ensure a sustainable increase in workload: system performance, BigData, and machine learning. The person will join a team of 9 people dedicated to the development of the data exploitation web platform. The team capitalizes on its strengths of dialogue, agility, and several years of experience, which will allow the person to progress, to challenge, and to be challenged on technical solutions. Missions Reporting to the Lead Dev Applicatif, you will play a key role in the evolution and robustness of business applications. Your main missions will be the following: Develop, maintain, and optimize back-end services in Node.js (based on Express or Koa), exposing REST and Websocket APIs.

• Develop complex and highly optimized SQL queries, adapted to performance and data volume requirements.
• Effectively integrate and manipulate PostgreSQL databases as well as internal and external services of the ecosystem.
• Ensure the smooth integration of the backend with the various UIs and their data flows.
• Produce high-quality, maintainable, and documented code.
• Implement and execute automated tests (unit, integration, load). Work in a containerized environment, using Kubernetes for the deployment and operation of applications.
• Participate in the technical design and evolution of the service architecture to guarantee performance, reliability, scalability, availability, and security.
• Explore and test new technologies to identify the most relevant ones for our future evolutions.
• Be proactive in proposing best practices, tools, and backend architecture patterns.

Profile

Education: With a Master's degree (Bac +5) in computer science and Web development, you have 5 to 10 years of experience as a Backend developer on JS technologies (Node/Type) and benefit from a good knowledge of SQL or PostGreSQL environments. Working in a team does not scare you; on the contrary, you believe it is an excellent way to exchange new discoveries and progress constantly. Skills in AWS, AZURE, or GCP platforms are a plus to your application, as well as knowledge of Python. Proficiency in English at a minimum B1 level is necessary for this position in the context of your duties.
