We are currently looking for a retail pharmacy assistant to join our full service independent pharmacy located in Downsview. If you are looking to work in a rewarding and essential work environment, this is your chance to join a great team!
Your tasks
- Assist with the technical functions, including input and preparation, of dispensing prescriptions
- Assist with the technical functions of preparing blister packs
- Assist in the delivery of pharmacy operations, including inventory management
- Greet all patients in person and over the phone in a professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service
- Respond to telephone calls, faxes and record information
Requirements
Position Requirements
- High energy and attention to detail
- Listening and empathy skills
- Team spirit
- Previous experience as a pharmacy assisstant
- Knowledge of Fillware considered an asset
- Pharmacy: 1 year (required)
