*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe and effective management of medications, and providing exceptional patient care. *Duties*

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders for medications and supplies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns regarding medications.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards, including proper storage and handling of medications.
• Support medication administration processes, including preparing medication for administration to patients.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals and assist in patient care activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes through effective medication management.

*Requirements*

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a Community Pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
• Ability to administer medications safely under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in medication dispensing.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
