Education:

College/CEGEP.

Tasks:

• Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate.
• Enter client information in databases.
• Prepare medications for clients.
• Supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians.
• Help with scheduling and workflow.
• Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams.
• Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products.
• Clean and restore ocular prostheses.
• Interpret physician's specification.

Experience:

3 years to less than 5 years.
