Job Summary The Electrical Maintenance Junior Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all electrical systems and equipment within a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This role supports continuous production by minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.

Troubleshoot electrical faults in production lines, utilities, and HVAC systems.

Maintain and repair PLCs, control panels, motors, drives, and instrumentation systems.

Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations.

Support validation and qualification activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) for electrical systems.

Monitor power distribution systems, generators, UPS, and backup systems.

Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.

Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.

Ensure proper calibration and functioning of electrical instruments.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.

1-3 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Strong knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).

Familiarity with SCADA systems and automation.

Understanding of GMP, FDA, and safety standards is preferred.

Ability to read electrical drawings and technical manuals.
