Your Role

• Participation in the preparation and continuous further development of the IFRS consolidated financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements) of a listed company
• Ensuring proper accounting in accordance with IFRS, taking into account capital market-relevant requirements and disclosure specifications
• Technical responsibility for complex IFRS accounting and valuation issues (including IAS 21, IFRS 9, IFRS 15/16 as well as IFRS 18)
• Supervision and support of subsidiaries in all matters of IFRS reporting
• Execution and quality assurance of consolidation measures (equity, debt, expense, and income consolidation)
• Preparation and technical review of Notes and disclosures in the consolidated financial statements
• Analysis of new IFRS standards and interpretations, as well as derivation and implementation of corresponding Accounting Policies and internal guidelines (incl. Accounting Memos)
• Point of contact for auditors, internal specialist departments, and management in all matters relevant to group accounting
• Participation in cross-departmental optimization and digitalization projects in the Group Accounting environment

Your Profile

• Successfully completed studies in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable course of study
• Additional qualification as an International Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage
• Several years of relevant professional experience (at least three years) in the field of Group Accounting, group accounting, or in auditing
• Strong expertise in accounting according to IFRS as well as interest in sophisticated accounting and consolidation topics
• Sound experience in dealing with group reporting and consolidation systems, ideally LucaNet
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working combined with a high standard of quality and accuracy
• Very good written and spoken English skills for collaboration in an international environment
• High team orientation, strong communication skills, and a confident appearance towards internal and external stakeholders
• Suitable for severely disabled persons, according to the assigned task and requirement profile
