• Development of innovative digital solutions and advisory products for sugar beet cultivation✓ Support for the implementation of the Agriculture Strategy 2030 with a focus on digitalization✓ Development and evaluation of data-based applications, especially in the areas of AI, Machine Learning, and sensor technology✓ Support and further development of existing digital advisory and analysis tools✓ Identification and evaluation of new technologies and innovations for agriculture✓ Cooperation with internal specialist departments as well as external partners from science and practice

Qualifications

• Completed Master's degree, ideally with a doctorate, in an agriculture-related field of study with a focus on Agriculture 4.0 or a comparable discipline✓ Professional experience in the field of digitalization of agriculture or in the development of data-based solutions, ideally with experience in the conception and management of international projects✓ Very good programming skills, ideally in Python and C++, as well as confident handling of common IT systems✓ Analytical and structured way of working as well as affinity for digital technologies and innovations✓ Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as enjoyment in collaborating with various contact persons✓ Very good English skills as well as willingness to travel, including to other European countries
