C# Developer

(M/F) – Seixal The Petrotec Group is composed of a set of companies focused on the production, commercialization, and technical assistance of equipment and systems for the storage, distribution, and retail of the oil industry. The group has expanded its operations to innovative solutions aligned with a new era of mobility, such as Electric Mobility and Hydrogen. We are strengthening our Systems Development team, at Petrotec - Inovação e Indústria, in Seixal, with a C# Developer.

The day-to-day of a C# Developer... Actively participate in the product development cycle; Contribute to the design, testing, and application support; Gather functional and non-functional requirements and propose improvement solutions; Participate in the maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of existing solutions; Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, focusing on delivery products and scalable solutions; Propose innovative and creative technical approaches, aligned with best practices; Stay updated with new technologies, frameworks, and trends in the .NET ecosystem; What do we expect from you? Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering, Electronics and Computers, or similar areas; More than 3 years of professional experience in development with .NET technologies; Solid knowledge in C#, .NET Core, and application architecture; Experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework (or other ORMs); Solid understanding of the CLR (Common Language Runtime) and the .NET application execution lifecycle; Experience in developing distributed applications and microservices-based architectures; Knowledge of gRPC and WebSocket (preferred); Mastery of REST APIs and modern integration practices; Experience with SQL databases and notions of non-relational databases (e.g., ElasticSearch, Kibana — valued); Notions of networks and communication protocols (TCP/IP, serial communications); Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems; Experience with Git version control systems; Good analytical capacity, critical thinking, organization, and planning; Good knowledge of English (written and spoken); Good communication skills, teamwork, and autonomy.
