Petrolink Support is looking for a Completion Engineer to ensure a structured, traceable, and efficient completion and handover process for our client in Stavanger.
Om arbeidsgiveren Petrolink Support as supports the operation of platforms, subsea installations and floating production units offshore, oil and gas terminals onshore, refineries and process plants including power plants and carbon capture facilities. In addition, we provide services concerned with concept selection, preparation for operations, operations support and emergency response. Operating companies and asset owners in Norway and internationally are our main clients. We have offices in Stavanger, Aberdeen, Doha and Kuala Lumpur.
Your tasks
Typical work tasks will be
- Responsible for establishing fit-for-purpose completion structures, maintaining high-quality documentation and data, and coordinating Mechanical Completion, Preservation, Commissioning, and handover activities in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
- Predictable and efficient project execution by reducing the risk of delays, ensuring compliance, and supporting the timely handover of systems, facilities, and documentation to operations.
- Establish and maintain a fit-for-purpose completion and handover structure in PIMS in line with project requirements and company standards
- Secure correct scoping and traceable documentation of Mechanical Completion, Preservation, and Commissioning activities in PIMS CMS
- Maintain data quality and alignment between engineering, construction, and commissioning disciplines to enable efficient project execution and handover
- Drive proper scope management
- Ensure handover certificates (RFCC, RFOC) are properly coordinated, documented, and approved according to project requirements
- Facilitate handover reviews.
- Promote collaboration between project teams, contractors, and operations to achieve transparent, safe, and efficient completion processes
- Safeguard compliance with client’s HSE principles, management system, and technical standards throughout all completion phases
- Contribute to continuous improvement of work processes, system functionality, and best practices for project completion and commissioning management
Requirements
We are looking for the right candidate with the following qualifications:
- Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in oil and gas projects within engineering, fabrication, construction, and commissioning.
- Subsea experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of PIMS CMS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong competence within LCI processes and documentation requirements
- Strong interpersonal, managerial, and communication skills
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Focused on HSSE and quality in all project phases
- Experience from the Norwegian oil & gas industry.
