Senior / Junior Florist
About the company
We are looking for a creative, passionate, and detail-oriented Florist to join our team at Petite Fleur. This role involves creating beautiful floral arrangements for retail, corporate, weddings, and special events while ensuring that every arrangement meets our brand's quality and design standards.
Your tasks
Floral Design & Arrangement
- Create beautiful floral arrangements, including bouquets, flower boxes, hampers, and floral stands.
- Prepare customised floral arrangements based on customers' preferences and requirements.
- Ensure all floral arrangements meet Petite Fleur's quality and design standards.
- Assist with developing new floral designs and seasonal collections.
Daily Operations & Order Fulfilment
- Prepare and fulfil daily floral orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all orders are completed on time and according to customer specifications.
- Coordinate with the administrative and delivery teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and tidy working environment.
Flower Care & Inventory Management
- Handle, condition, and care for fresh flowers to maintain their freshness and quality.
- Monitor flower inventory and minimise wastage.
- Assist with receiving, checking, and organising flower deliveries.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of flowers and floral materials.
Wedding, Corporate & Event Support
- Assist with floral arrangements for weddings, corporate functions, and special events.
- Support on-site floral setup and dismantling when required.
- Work closely with the team to execute floral concepts and event decorations.
Teamwork & Coordination
- Work closely with other florists and the operations team.
- Assist team members during busy periods and peak seasons.
- Contribute creative ideas for new products, designs, and floral collections.
Requirements
We welcome both experienced florists and fresh graduates who have a passion for flowers, creativity, and a willingness to learn.
- Passionate about flowers, floral design, and creativity.
- Creative, organised, and detail-oriented.
- Good sense of colour coordination, floral styling, and aesthetics.
- Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willing to learn and take on new challenges.
- Able to work on weekends, public holidays, and peak festive periods when scheduled.
- Previous floral experience is an advantage, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
What we offer
*Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh Graduate Pay:** $2,000.00 – $3,500.00 per month (depending on experience and skills)
