Tasks:
- Estimate costs of installing equipment.
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates.
- Oversee the preparation of sales and orders.
- Prepare sales or other contracts.
- Promote sales to existing clients.
- Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements.
- Identify and solicit potential clients.
- Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services.
- Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service.
- Deliver sales presentations.
- Represent companies that export and import products or services to and from foreign countries.
- Conduct sales transactions.
- Prepare and administer sales contracts.
