Pertemps are recruiting for a Classroom Assistant to work within a school’s Home Economics department, on a temporary basis.

Your tasks

The successful candidate will be

• Preparing ingredients for classes
• Working with recipes to portion out ingredients
• Creating shopping lists
• Loading the dishwasher and washing machine
• General tidy up of the classroom
• Keeping food prep areas clean and organised
• Stocking the cupboards and fridges
• Any other tasks as required

Role – Classroom / Kitchen Assistant Location – Barnton area of Edinburgh Hours – Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week (4 hours daily during school hours) Pay rate - £13.66 per hour Start date – asap Duration – until 18th December 2026

This role will require a PVG for children at a cost of £59 (or £18 for an update).
