Pertemps South Midlands Driving Hub is currently recruiting a Yard Shunter for our client based in Milton Keynes.

Your tasks

What will you be doing? Working as part of a busy transport team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the yard operates safely and efficiently. Moving vehicles from Van up to HGV1 safely around the yard Offloading empty trays Washing and fuelling vehicles Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting defects Supporting the day-to-day running of the yard Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment Assisting with additional duties as required and using your own initiative

Requirements

No HGV license is needed, training will be provided along with a shunters license.

Who are we looking for? You'll need: Previous driving experience A full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points Good awareness of health and safety procedures A proactive and reliable approach to work To be physically fit, as the role involves a significant amount of walking
