Pertemps South Midlands Driving Hub are recruiting on behalf of our Milton Keynes-based client for a professional and adaptable HGV Delivery Driver. This is an ongoing temporary role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

What will you be doing?

This is a varied delivery role supporting a busy transport operation across a mixed fleet. You role will involve driving various vehicles to include Van, 7.5 Tonne, HGV2 or HGV1, with varied duties such as Multidrop delivery, Trunk runs, 1 or 2 runs daily, 3-4 drops daily.

• Carrying out vehicle checks and completing all relevant paperwork
• Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining professional standards at all times
• Working in line with Driver Hours, Road Transport and Health & Safety regulations
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for experienced and flexible drivers who are happy operating a range of vehicles and supporting different delivery requirements across the business.

You'll need:

• Valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence
• Valid CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Less tha 6 points on your license.
• Minimum 2 years UK HGV1 driving experience
• Confidence driving HGV1, HGV2, 7.5 Tonne and Van vehicles
• Professional, reliable and flexible approach to work
• Good understanding of transport compliance and road safety requirements

Your working week

• Monday to Friday
• Average 9-12 hour shifts
• Regular ongoing work
• Temp to perm opportunity
• Start times between 0400 - 0900
