Seasonal Customer Advisor – Fixed Term
Location: Nottingham Contract: Temporary / Fixed Term until 31 December 2026 Start Date: Immediate Hours: 25–37.5 hours per week Pay: £13.16 per hour
We are currently recruiting for Seasonal Customer Advisors to join a busy customer service team based in Nottingham, on a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2026 , with the possibility of an extension. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, has great communication skills and is confident working in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As a Customer Advisor, you will support customers across a variety of channels including telephone, email, live chat, WhatsApp and social media . You’ll deal with a wide range of customer queries, providing friendly, professional and effective solutions while ensuring every customer receives a positive experience. During busy periods, you may handle 80+ calls per day , alongside digital customer enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries by phone and digital channels
- Provide friendly, professional and empathetic customer service
- Listen to customers and understand their individual needs
- Resolve queries efficiently and take ownership through to completion
- Handle customer information securely and confidentially
- Manage challenging conversations professionally
- Work towards agreed KPIs and performance targets
- Keep up to date with processes, products and systems
- Escalate complex or sensitive queries where required
- Work positively as part of a busy team
Hours & Shift Pattern
The role is available for 25–37.5 hours per week . The operation is open:
- Monday–Friday: 8:30am–6:30pm
- Saturday: 8:45am–5:00pm
- Sunday: 10:00am–5:00pm
The shift pattern operates on a 4-week rotation , with two full weekends off within each 4-week period . For example:
- Week 1: 44 hours across 6 days
- Week 2: 31 hours across 4 days
Part-time applicants must be available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week and be able to work weekends.
Training
Full training is provided , so previous customer service experience is not essential. Please note that your first week of training will be full-time , regardless of whether you are applying for a part-time or full-time position. You will then receive ongoing support as you begin handling customer enquiries independently.

Previous customer service, retail, healthcare or contact centre experience is advantageous but not essential.
Important Information
This is an office-based position in Nottingham , with no hybrid working available . You must therefore be able to reliably commute to the office for all scheduled shifts, including weekends.
