Turret Operator

Hours of work: Monday to Friday - 2pm – 10pm Hourly rate: £13.18 per hour Location: Dudley

We are currently recruiting for a Turret Operator / Punch Press Operator to join our clients busy manufacturing team. The role is based within a sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing environment , producing precision metal components and fabricated products for industrial and commercial applications.

The Role

• Operating T urret punch press machinery
• Loading and unloading sheet metal
• Setting and adjusting machines
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Checking finished components for quality and accuracy
• Meeting production targets and deadlines
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working area
• Following health & safety and production procedures

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience operating a turret punch press or punch press
• Experience within sheet metal or metal fabrication
• The ability to read engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail
• A reliable and hardworking approach
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in a similar manufacturing role is highly desirable. If you have experience as a Turret Operator, CNC Punch Press Operator, Press Brake Operator or Sheet Metal Worker and are looking for a Monday-to-Friday afternoon shift, we'd like to hear from you.
