Your tasks
We're recruiting for an experienced Claims Handler to join a specialist claims team managing professional indemnity matters on behalf of insurer clients.
You'll be responsible for handling claims from first notification through to resolution, investigating claims, reviewing coverage, liaising with stakeholders, negotiating settlements, and ensuring excellent client service throughout.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of professional indemnity claims
- Investigate claims and assess liability and exposure
- Review policy coverage and prepare insurer reports
- Negotiate settlements within delegated authority
- Maintain accurate claims and case management records
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs and insurer requirements
- Identify emerging risks and trends
