About the company

We’re looking for a capable, production-minded Digital Print & Finishing Operator to join our busy team near Weston-super-Mare.

Your tasks

In this role, you will operate wide-format print and finishing equipment, ensuring every job is produced safely, accurately, and to the highest standard. It's an exciting time to join, as you will also play a key role in helping bring our new HP FS70w wide-format printer into production following its planned installation in the new year.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate our Canon Colorado and Mimaki flatbed printers.
• Operate our Kongsberg cutting table and various print-finishing equipment.
• Prepare materials and files for production, carefully checking job specifications and quality.
• Monitor print and finishing jobs, troubleshoot any issues, and carry out routine machine maintenance.
• Keep work moving efficiently to meet tight production deadlines while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
• Assist with the integration and rollout of our upcoming HP FS70w wide-format printer.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with digital or large-format print equipment and finishing processes.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced production environment with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• A sharp eye for detail, pride in your craftsmanship, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
• A practical, reliable approach, with the ability to work comfortably both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience with Canon Colorado, Mimaki, Kongsberg, or similar machinery is a distinct advantage.
• Please note: While machine-specific experience is welcome, we are especially keen to hear from candidates with strong overall production skills and relevant digital print knowledge.
