Pertemps are currently recruiting for a motivated and detail-focused Electronics Assembly Technician to join our client’s production team in Salisbury.

Your tasks

Job Specifics

• Mount and secure electronic parts, microchips, and wires onto PCBs and into larger casings using hand tools and soldering equipment.
• Hand-solder components using Surface Mount Technology (SMT) or through-hole techniques.
• Inspect finished assemblies for defects, test functionality and troubleshoot basic faults.
• Be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and schematics

Requirements

Requirements for this role

• Manufacturing, production or assembly experience
• Experience with hand soldering and operating electronic test equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in finishing to a high standard
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently, and follow instructions
• Positive, reliable and hardworking approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
