Jr Buyer - Procurement

Your tasks

Job Objective Support the management of domestic and international purchases, ensuring the timely supply of merchandise by handling quotations, negotiating with suppliers, processing purchase orders, and following up on deliveries, in accordance with the needs of branches and warehouses.

Main Functions

• Manage and follow up on the portfolio of domestic and international suppliers.
• Handle quotations and compare purchase alternatives based on supply needs.
• Process purchase orders and follow up until the delivery of the merchandise.
• Plan purchases according to demand and the needs of the branches.
• Support the control of the purchasing budget and follow up on its variations.
• Prepare supply forecasts (Forecast) for critical lines of air conditioning equipment.
• Manage the registration of new materials in the system.
• Prepare reports verifying import expenses.
• Maintain communication with suppliers, warehouses, branches, and internal areas to ensure timely supply.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or related areas.
• Intermediate English is indispensable.
• Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience or knowledge in purchasing and procurement in the retail sector.
• Desirable experience with ERP systems.
• Desirable experience with domestic and international suppliers.
• Desirable knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration.

• Minimum education: Higher education - Bachelor's degree

Schedule Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with 2 hours for lunch; Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sunday off.
