Production Engineer (New model) with experience/ability to read drawings and use CAD software

A joint venture between TORAY Group from Japan, one of the world's leading manufacturers of Carbon Fiber, and companies within the Saha Group. The company is promoted by BOI to produce Carbon Fiber Composite reinforced plastic parts.

The manufacturing plant in Thailand focuses on producing a wide variety of carbon composite products for industries including aviation, automotive (cars and motorcycles), railways, industrial machinery, medical devices, and high-performance carbon composite products (high-efficiency fiber) that can be used in various high-quality applications.

Job Details

• Support preparation for New Model production, such as Mold, Jig, Tooling, and Equipment.
• Support the RFQ (Request for Quotation) process and prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) according to customer requirements.
• Support the preparation of process control documents such as Process Flow Chart, Control Plan, Work Instruction, Check Sheet, and Project Presentation Summary Report.
• Support production process trials and confirm product samples for new models to submit for customer approval.
• Summarize trial results, problems encountered, and corrective actions for initial workpieces.
• Manage, coordinate, and execute the Engineering Change Process to ensure smooth production, quality, and procurement.
• Analyze problems and determine solutions to reduce workpiece defects during both initial production and Mass Production to meet targets.
• Coordinate with Cross-functional Teams to ensure production process readiness.
• Support and provide technical solutions for all problems related to production processes, quality, and technical aspects.
• Organize training and transfer product and production process knowledge/expertise to operational staff.

Working Hours: 8.00-17.30 Mon-Fri (Saturday - As per company's rule)

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in any field Thai nationality, Male/Female, aged between 27-35 years Direct experience in managing BOI privileges (import document submission, raw material cut stock, requesting additional product categories, and BOI license renewal) Experience in applying for import licenses through the TISI (Thai Industrial Standards Institute) system Experience in preparing and verifying Import-Export Documents, Tagging, and Shipping Marks Skills in using Courier systems (UPS and DHL) and coordinating Vessel Booking with Freight Forwarders Skills in coordination and negotiation regarding delivery schedules (Pull-in / Push-out) with customers, suppliers, and Freight Forwarders Experience in Forecast management, Inventory Control, and coordinating product inspection appointments with the QC team Knowledge and understanding of Sales Voucher documentation and basic General Ledger Listing verification Ability to communicate in English
