Development Technician

Your tasks:

• Technical development including design of a specific component scope from concept to series production
• Responsibility for product development goals (such as product properties, quality, costs, and deadlines)
• Representing the department goals within the project
• Coordination with customers and suppliers
• Presentation of the project status internally and at the customer
• Creation of reports, bills of materials, documentation, and decision-making documents
• Interface management and coordination with other disciplines
• New and further developments of constructive solutions

Your profile:

• Successfully completed technical training (HTL in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, automation technology, or similar)
• Subject-specific knowledge in the design of body parts and assemblies including joining technologies such as welding, riveting, gluing, ...
• Basic knowledge of metal manufacturing processes such as deep drawing, casting, extrusion, ...
• High degree of personal responsibility
• Determination, assertiveness, and strong communication skills
• Proactive, independent way of working
• Very good MS Office skills
• Very good CAD skills (Catia V5 and/or Catia V6 and/or Siemens NX)
• Very good English skills
• Willingness to travel
• Communication and negotiation competence
• Economic thinking and flexibility
• Resilience and conflict management

Remuneration: The minimum salary is € 3,396.21 gross/year; depending on education or professional experience, an overpayment will be agreed upon.
