The Area of Responsibility

• Responsible assumption of overall project management for new or conversion measures in pipeline construction for district heating pipelines in plant engineering or high-pressure pipelines in power plant engineering in the sense of comprehensive project management
• Calculation and proposal preparation: Development of offers, evaluation of technical inquiries, and contract processing.
• Coordination of planning and tendering as well as drafting contracts for the awarding of service packages to subcontractors in cooperation with the project administrator
• Communication: Primary contact for customers, authorities, and specialist engineers
• Site supervision: Management of suppliers and subcontractors as well as construction supervision on-site.
• Monitoring compliance with project-specific targets regarding quality, costs, and deadlines in both planning and execution
• Management and coordination of external specialist disciplines (insulation, scaffolding, NDT, heat treatment, etc.)
• Documentation: Consolidation of final documentation, preparation of measurements/bills of quantities, and preparation of technical foundations for billing
• Claim management
• Coordination of project content and objectives with the involved specialist disciplines (e.g., process engineering, pipeline design, construction technology, electrical and control technology)
• Identification of technical risks and development of pragmatic solutions

The Requirement Profile

• Completed technical degree or comparable qualification
• Additional qualification in project management
• Experience in the planning and execution of pipeline projects in the field of power plants / chemistry / petrochemistry / high-pressure plant engineering
• Good knowledge of welding technology in the treatment of thick-walled pipes in the P91, 10CrMo910 area
• Negotiation skills and high commitment, combined with a structured and result-oriented way of working
• Positive attitude towards contract law and claim management
• Structured and technically clean way of working
• Hands-on mentality, solution-oriented working
• Ability to think and act economically and strategically
• Good written and spoken English skills
