Your tasks

Do you analyze quality problems, develop effective solutions, and ensure that improvements take hold sustainably? For our client in the Defence & Aviation sector, we are looking for reinforcement in Quality Management. In this role, you will work closely with production, suppliers, and customers, accompanying quality topics from root cause analysis to effectiveness control.

• You manage internal and external quality reports, document them in SAP, and coordinate root cause analyses as well as the implementation and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
• You clarify quality issues with specialist departments, customers, and suppliers and, if necessary, support problem-solving directly at the supplier.
• You develop suppliers together with the internal specialist departments, independently conduct supplier audits, and accompany internal and external audits.
• You moderate error and material review boards in production (FRB/MRB) and optimize inspection plans and inspection instructions to avoid recurring errors.
• You decide on the release or blocking of products and processes and prepare the necessary product-related certificates for delivery releases.
• You prepare decision bases and reports, track agreed measures, and train employees in handling quality reports.

Requirements

• You have completed an engineering degree, technical college training, or a comparable qualification with a focus on mechanics and bring several years of industrial experience.
• You have several years of experience in quality inspection or quality assurance, ideally in the automotive, aerospace, or defense industry.
• You have an additional qualification in quality management, for example, as Manager Qualitätssicherung (DGQ) or comparable.
• You are proficient in quality methods such as 8D, fault tree analysis, FMEA, and 5M, and bring knowledge in Lean Six Sigma.
• You analyze complex relationships systematically and independently develop practical, sustainable solutions.
• You communicate clearly, moderate constructively even with differing interests, and represent quality requirements with assertiveness and discretion.
• You are confident in using SAP and MS Office and have very good written and spoken English skills.
• You are willing to travel for supplier visits and audits.
