Maritime electrician

onshore rotation – automation and commissioning We are seeking electricians with maritime experience for work involving installation, termination, testing, and commissioning of electrical, automation, and control systems onboard ships or maritime installations. The role is suitable for you who have experience from technical project environments and who thrive with complex installations related to, among other things, topside equipment, crane/winch systems, and control systems.

Rotation model: 4-2

Tasks The work may include, among other things: Installation, termination, testing, and commissioning of topside equipment Work with drilling equipment, where applicable Crane and winch systems Heave compensation systems HPU – Hydraulic Power Units Control cabinets and junction boxes Instrumentation and signal systems Cable pulling and cable support Termination of power and signal cables Panels, control cabinets, motors, and drive systems Frequency converters/VFD drives MCC – Motor Control Center Generator and distribution systems

Desired qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Trade certificate as an electrician, automation technician, or relevant electrical background Experience from maritime installations, shipyards, ships, rigs, or similar project environments Experience with electrical installation, termination, testing, and commissioning Knowledge of control cabinets, junction boxes, motors, drive systems, and distribution systems Experience with instrumentation, loop checking, testing, and commissioning Good Norwegian or English skills, both oral and written Good understanding of quality, documentation, and safe execution

Advantage, but not a requirement Experience with PLC systems, HMI/SCADA, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet-based communication, or troubleshooting on control systems is an advantage.
