Warehouse Assistant - West (5.5 days)- $3500 (ID: 714014)

Brief Summary: Support daily warehouse operations covering inbound/outbound processing, cargo handling, and inventory accuracy in a structured environment. Work closely with operational stakeholders while maintaining high safety and service standards. Responsibilities Process inbound and outbound orders in line with required procedures and timelines. Pick, pack, and prepare items for dispatch as operational needs require. Unload, inspect, and store cargo in the correct locations, following handling and storage guidelines. Prepare unpack and discrepancy reports for received cargo where applicable. Perform inventory spot checks and participate in periodic stock takes to support stock accuracy. Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to support day-to-day operational requirements. Maintain general warehouse housekeeping, including keeping work areas clean and organised. Follow workplace safety practices and report unsafe conditions or incidents promptly. Carry out assigned tasks safely to avoid risk to self and others. Operate only equipment you are trained and authorised to use. Participate in safety activities (e.g., inspections, briefings, and investigations) when required. Requirements Minimum secondary education or equivalent. Experience in a similar warehouse role; exposure to freight forwarding/logistics operations is an advantage. Valid forklift licence; high-reach forklift experience is an advantage. Experience with shipping container loading and unloading. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing and documentation. Customer-focused mindset with a proactive, responsible approach to work.
