Talend Developer |12 months agency contract

Responsibilities Design and develop ETL processes using Talend Open Studio, Talend Data Integration and Talend ESB. Gather requirements from business stakeholders and turn them into technical designs for Talend jobs. Write and optimise complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation on SQL Server, MySQL and other databases. Apply data profiling and data quality rules within Talend jobs, in line with data governance standards. Debug Talend jobs and resolve data integration issues. Set goals for the Talend team, assign work and give technical guidance. Mentor team members on Talend development and data integration practice. Explain technical concepts, progress and issues to non-technical team members and stakeholders. Requirements 7+ years of hands-on experience with Talend Open Studio, Talend Data Integration and Talend ESB. Proven experience designing and developing ETL processes in Talend. Strong SQL skills and experience with databases such as SQL Server and MySQL. Working knowledge of data quality management, data profiling and data governance. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for Talend jobs. Experience leading and mentoring a team of Talend developers.
