Your tasks

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient big data platform solutions.
• Design and architect robust big data platforms, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement end-to-end data processing workflows, from data collection to analysis and visualization.
• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to optimize data models and algorithms for efficient and accurate data analysis and mining.
• Lead the implementation and deployment of big data technologies, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams on big data best practices, tools, and technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance and security policies and ensure compliance.
• Conduct performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of big data platforms to optimize performance and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in big data technologies and DevOps practices, and provide recommendations for adoption as appropriate.
• Successfully deliver projects, including bigdata platform implementations, data warehouse architectures, data analysis and mining, and user profiling and tagging systems.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, or SRE roles.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, on at least 2 cloud platforms required Eg. AWS, Azure, GCP, Aliyun or Huawei Cloud
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, or equivalent.
• Proficient in scripting and automation (Shell, Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.
• Experience managing databases and production environments is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
