Shipping & Logistics Executive (UP3600 | Central)
Location: Bukit Merah Salary: S$3,300 – S$3,600/month, depending on experience Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm Lunch: 12:30pm – 1:30pm
Job Responsibilities Handle customer enquiries relating to shipments, vessel ETA and charges Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate support Coordinate shipping activities and documentation with customers and overseas agents Ensure shipping documents are accurate, complete and dispatched on time Ensure documentation complies with customs and international trade requirements Handle freight service data entry and maintain accurate records Support tariff, freight rate, cost and quotation enquiries Apply knowledge of shipping Incoterms and freight processes Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations Follow established operational policies, procedures and standards Handle operational issues and other ad-hoc duties as required Requirements Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field 1–3 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, shipping or logistics operations preferred Good understanding of international shipping procedures, documentation and customs requirements Familiarity with Incoterms and air/sea freight processes Customer-oriented with good problem-solving abilities Comfortable with data entry and logistics/freight management systems Proficient in Microsoft Office , particularly Excel, Word and Outlook Able to work effectively with customers, overseas agents and internal stakeholders Willing to take on ad-hoc duties and adapt to operational requirements By sending us your personal data and curriculum vitae (CV), you are deemed to consent to PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd and its affiliates to collect, use and disclose your personal data for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy available at https://www.persolsingapore.com/policies.
