Senior Software Specialist – FileNet

Your tasks

• Install, upgrade, migrate, and configure IBM ECM/BPM products including IBM FileNet, IBM Content Navigator, IBM Case Manager, IBM BAW, IBM Datacap, and WebSphere Application Server.
• Administer and support CPE, AE, ICN, Workplace XT, and FileNet Image Services environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, and AIX servers supporting FileNet platforms.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity.
• Support CI/CD pipeline development and infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible.
• Assist with Docker and Kubernetes-based containerized deployments.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth application delivery.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and support security and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

Skills/Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and their core services.
• Exposure to scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Willingness to learn and work with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Key Domain / Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with IBM ECM and BPM products, including IBM Case Manager, WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment, IBM BAW, IBM Datacap, IBM FileNet, and IBM Content Navigator.
• Experience supporting and administering FileNet Content Search Services on Windows and Linux servers.
• Knowledge of CPE, AE, ICN, Workplace XT, and FileNet Image Services, including administration, installation, configuration, and fix pack upgrades.
• Hands-on experience in implementing, managing, and troubleshooting Windows, AIX, and Linux environments for FileNet Administration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or related areas.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Familiarity with workflow tools or middleware platforms such as Camunda or Apache Airflow.
• Understanding of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
